Dr. Maged Youssef

Dr. Maged Youssef is teaching fashion management in the school of Textiles & Design at Heriot-Watt University.

He has more than 20 years’ practical experience in Textiles & Fashion industry as a manager and as a consultant. He implemented many successful development projects for international aid organizations like CIDA, USAID, and GIZ.

Dr.Youssef has Studied Textile technology and management at Dresden University of Technology, Germany. His PhD was in the field of Quality Assessment and Business excellence.

In the last five years, he was a visiting scholar in many reputable universities such as Heriot-Watt University, UK- North Carolina State University, USA – Karlsruhe University of Applied Science & Dresden University of Technology , Germany- and Helwan University, Egypt.
