Lean and Agile ME Summit 2019
On March 13th Agile ME held its fifth annual conference – Lean and Agile Middle East Summit 2019 in Hilton Dubai Jumeirah Resort, Dubai, UAE. Agile ME is bringing world-class speakers to share their knowledge and expertise in the field of IT and Agile methodologies year after year.
After last year’s popular speakers such as Arie Van Bennekum, Zuzi Sochova, Bass Vodde, Andrew
Schumer, Matthew Philip, and many others, this year’s stars of the conference were:
- Boris Gloger, is one of the pioneers and innovators of Scrum.
- Jutta Eckstein, independent coach, consultant, trainer, author and speaker.
- Ade Shokoya, is a highly sought-after Agile consultant, coach, and trainer, who specializes in multi-million/billion-pound Enterprise Agile and digital transformation programs.
Attendees got the opportunity to hear from Ben Linders, Erich R. Bühler- author of the best-selling book Leading Exponential Change, Steve Snowdon (Mashreq Bank), Jaesung Jo (Samsung), Fariz Saračević (IBM), and more.
Participants had the opportunity to follow lectures in parallel sessions, as well as to participate in workshops. This conference is also a great networking opportunity.

Lean and Agile ME 2019 is the biggest agile summit in the region. Agile ME association this year boasts an excellent organization of the conference, that hosted 129 visitors.
From year to year, interest in such conferences is growing and general knowledge of agile methodologies in software development as well.
More and more companies are starting to implement some of the methods.
For the next year, we are expecting more surprises from Lean and Agile ME.
